Thirty-seven figures described as "Baigneuse" are recorded in the sale records for October 1752 at a value of 15 livres each. The designation appears to have encompassed several different models; for a discussion of these variants, see Tamara Préaud and Antoinette Fay-Hallé, Porcelaines de Vincennes - Les Origines de Sèvres, 1977, p.152, nos. 454-457.
Another example of the same model is in the Belvedere Collection, published by Joanna Gwilt, , 2014, p.218-219, no. 157.
