说明：Exquisitely potted, the present cup is distinguished by the striking contrast between its vivid purple exterior and the luminous sky-blue glaze on the interior. This combination of colours is a hallmark of the finest Junyao ceramics. The function of this vessel as a tea bowl is indicated by the subtle indented groove just below the rim on the exterior. This distinctive feature originated at the Jian kilns in Fujian province during the Song dynasty and was subsequently widely adopted by kilns throughout both northern and southern China.
For a closely related example, compare a very similar rare Jun-type purple-glazed tea bowl of comparable size (8.3 cm) from the collection of Hidenari Terasaki (1900-1951), sold at Bonhams New York, 19 March 2018, lot 8029. While tea bowls of this precise form are exceptionally rare among recent Jun kiln excavations, the striking reddish-purple and sky-blue glaze combination can be compared to a dish discovered during the 2004 excavations at the Juntai kiln site in Henan province. That dish was included in the Palace Museum exhibition catalogue Jun ci ya ji: Gugong Bowuyuan zhencang ji chutu Junyao ciqi huicui [Selection of Jun Ware: The Palace Museum's Collection and Archaeological Excavation], Beijing, 2013, pp. 264-265, cat. no. 117; and was previously published in Zhongguo chutu ciqi quanji [Complete Collection of Ceramic Art Unearthed in China], vol. 12: Henan, Beijing, 2008, cat. no. 211. 本盃形制精巧，外壁施瑰麗紫釉，內壁呈瑩潤天藍，釉色對比鮮明，絢麗奪目，展現鈞窰瓷器最為引人入勝之典型特徵。盃口沿下方微斂，此一獨特器形乃受宋代福建建窰茶盞影響，後為大江南北各地窰口所廣泛仿效，足證其作為茶器之用。
參考一尺寸相近（8.3公分）之極似鈞窰紫釉茶盞，為寺崎英成（1900-1951年）舊藏，售於紐約邦瀚斯2018年3月19日，拍品編號8029。近年鈞窰遺址出土文物中，與本品器形完全一致之例屈指可數。然其紅紫與天藍交融之獨特釉色，可比較2004年河南鈞台窰遺址出土之一件鈞窰盤，該盤錄於故宮博物院展覽圖錄《鈞瓷雅集：故宮博物院珍藏及出土鈞窰瓷器薈萃》，北京，2013年，頁264-265，編號117；早前亦載於《中國出土瓷器全集：卷十二．河南》，北京，2008年，編號211。另可參考一件器形稍異之鈞窰紫釉茶盞，售於香港佳士得2014年11月26日，拍品編號2925。
