The dish is in good condition, its richly coloured glaze with typical surface degredation. Light overspray to the rim with more extensive retouching (ca. 6 cm) to a rim chip and smaller knocks to its left. Further minute glaze flakes to the rim and a larger flake to underside as visible in lot photographs. Expected wear to tips of feet.

说明：It is rare to find a tripod tray of this type with a green rather than the more usual white glaze, although a similar piece with a green glaze around the central design but a white glaze on the sides, from the Eugene Fuller Memorial Collection is in Seattle Art Museum, illustrated in Chang Wan-li, Three-Colour Glaze Pottery of the T'ang Dynasty, vol. II, Hong Kong, 1977, pl. 93. A tray with this design on a white ground, recovered from the Gongxian kiln site at Huangye, Gongyi municipality, Henan province, is illustrated in Three-colour Glazed Pottery Kilns of the Tang Dynasty at Huangye, Beijing, 2000, pl. 14, fig. 1.
