Decorated with a writhing front-facing five-clawed dragon, amongst polychrome cloud scrolls, the cavetto with lotus flowers and foliage reserved on a yellow ground, the exterior with three striding dragons amongst clouds, the base with a blue enamel phoenix encircled by five bats against a yellow ground.

Jeremy Mason is a noted bibliophile and dealer in Chinese and Japanese art who started his career at Christie's in the late 1960s, particularly known for his collection of Oscar Wilde books and ephemera, sold by Bonhams London in February 2026. His Chinese art collection was housed in his 18th century townhouse, Hoyle's House, London, some pieces for the last 50 years.
