Overall very good condition, a few scattered very minor fleabites, non-disfiguring.

Of flattened pear shape, the shoulders sloping to a slightly flared neck, the lip flat, the recessed convex foot surrounded by a neatly-carved footrim, the milky-white body overlaid in cobalt blue to depict on one side a continuous scene of lotus flowers, buds and leaves growing from waves, the reverse with a seven-character inscription in relief archaic script reading: “Against the sun, the lotus flowers are an extraordinary pink”, followed by a rectangular seal incised in relief seal script “Song Xuan” (Pine Pavilion), the overlay also forming the footrim and lip collar.
