The flower-shaped rim moulded with a band of stylised chrysanthemums and scrolling foliage around the side below a brown-edged basketwork rim, painted in Kakiemon style with the "flying fox" pattern of a squirrel above banded hedges with another squirrel and flowers, 15.2cm across; 4.5cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, impressed Dreher's mark of a "+" within a circle
