Tang Dynasty
Of baluster form, potted with high rounded shoulders tapering towards a flat base and topped with a short neck, the body brightly decorated with vertical panels enclosing stylised floral motifs and splash-dappled columns in vibrant green, amber, white, and rich cobalt-blue lead glazes, stops cleanly above the unglazed lower body, revealing the buff pottery body, the cover similarly decorated.
