The fine Manchu style noblewoman's robe, danpao, made from woven red-ground silk with intricate silk embroidered decoration throughout, depicting eight roundels adorned with ripe pomegranates bursting with seeds and foshou finger citron at the centre in gold thread and surrounded by stylised peony flower sprays, all above the lower section adorned with dragons and auspicious treasures emerging from the shoushan fuhai, the mountains of longevity and sea of bliss, the collar and sleeve bands similarly adorned peony flower sprays and also pomegranate and foshou finger citron, with gilt metal round buttons, the interior lined in pale yellow silk
