There is some slight creasing (particularly along the rightmost side by the front paper) consistent with age and the nature of handscrolls being rolled and unrolled repeatedly, as can be seen in the illustrations there is some uneven toning, soiling particularly along the top and bottom edges overall, a few slight marks to the paper elsewhere, a few minute tears along the top and bottom edges with associated repairs, a further tear (approx. 3.5 cm.) near the end paper with expert repair, some small holes that have been patched from the reverse, some slight wear around some of the paper joins.
