Finely worked in polychrome silk threads and couched gilt thread on a blue silk ground, the central roundel enclosing a crane medallion, flanked by ruyi-shaped clouds, the upper section centered with a flaming pearl issuing from a lotus blossom above a ceremonial canopy (baogai), with ribbon-tied other auspicious emblems arranged around the field, all enclosed within a narrow couched gilt-thread border.
