Overall in excellent condition. The metal surfaces present with scattered fine scratches, occasional minor nicks, and a few abrasions, consistent with age and gentle use. The leather surfaces of the base show a few surface scratches and light scuffs, as well as minor edgewear, including a small loss to the rim measuring approximately ¾ in. long, none of which detracts from the overall presentation. The saddle stitching appears original and intact, with very light surface soiling, commensurate with age. The later paper shade is in excellent condition, with a few extremely faint scuffs.
