说明：御窰綠彩龍紋盤始見於成化年間，至明代中晚期仍持續燒造，尤以弘治及正德兩朝最為盛行。此類紋飾歷久不衰，使「綠彩龍紋盤」成為宮廷御用瓷器的經典品類之一。
清代同類器多直接於釉面以綠彩描繪龍紋；明代如本盤者，則先於胎體刻劃紋樣，施釉時將龍紋部分留白露胎，首次高溫燒成後，再於澀胎龍紋內填施綠彩，經二次低溫燒成。這道額外工序，使紋飾呈現含蓄而細膩的立體效果。
重要博物館及私人收藏中可見多件同類正德盤。可比較倫敦大英博物館藏數例，著錄於Jessica Harrison-Hall，《Ming Ceramics in the British Museum》，倫敦，2001年，圖版8:33至8:35；另有上海博物館藏一例，載於陸明華，《上海博物館藏品研究大系：明代官窰瓷器》，上海，2007年，圖版1-44。
另可比較樂山堂舊藏一件尺寸及紋飾相同的盤，載於《樂山堂藏中國瓷器》，臺北，2005年，圖版18；後於香港蘇富比2024年4月9日拍賣，編號112。英國鐵路退休基金會舊藏另有一例，曾三度於倫敦蘇富比拍賣：1966年12月13日，編號73；1969年7月1日，編號149；及1970年11月17日，編號76；其後再於香港蘇富比1989年5月16日拍賣，編號27。區百齡舊藏另有一例，於香港佳士得2024年9月26日拍賣，編號6。
