The top of the rectangular box inlaid with an official mounted on horseback surrounded by his retinue, all within an extensive garden landscape, a pavilion to the upper right with three figures viewing the scene below, braided wire border, the sides decorated with birds among flowers and figural reserves of gentlemen at their leisure, the interior of the cover inlaid with flowering prunus branches under a crescent moon.
