Both with slight fritting to the edges and minor surface wear. One with a long hairline at 10 o'clock position, an area of crazing to the standing rim and a stress line at the bottom. The other plate also with some slight crazing at the standing rim. No further defects and no restoration.

Both plates enamelled in the ‘boneless style’ with a brightly coloured butterfly, daylilies and a flowering rose amidst other flowers. The backs not decorated and not marked.
