As can be seen in the illustrations, each of the carved wood sculptures have some minor losses to pigments, rubbing to gilt and some slight surface wear, including small chips to the extremities, a few small losses with some associated repair commensurate with the age of the objects, Bishamonten and Jikokuten with a small repair to the raised collar, the gilt metal accoutrements with rubbing and some surface wear, the demon pedestal to Bishamonten possibly originally holding an attributed now lacking, the sculptures have been later re-fitted on to the later wood base.
