Mid-Qing Dynasty
The small bottle with an ovoid body resting on a short foot and tapering to a slender neck, decorated with a dense foliate scroll of florets against a sky-blue ground, between a pendent ruyi band and a ring of upright petals, the neck further adorned with upright plantain leaves and a similar floral scroll, fitted box.

Small cloisonné enamel vases, alongside other exquisite Court playthings, were frequently selected for display within Imperial sandalwood compound cabinets (duobaoge).
