Scattered firing cracks and small glaze flaws, chips to edge of foot, one under the glaze; crack to foot, another above foot into lower section of body; under Uv light, no repairs or restorations seen.

The flattened body decorated to each side with an incised fierce five-clawed dragon in pursuit of a flaming pearl above turbulent waves, the cylindrical neck rising to a garlic bulb mouth encircled by ruyi heads and flanked by arched handles painted with C-scrolls, supported on an oval foot ring. Together with a large Chinese hardwood (possibly huanghuali) scrolled-stand.
