The centre of the painting is showing a brown coloured female deity seated in lalitasana on a lotus base with her right foot supported by a smaller lotus, her right hand in abhayamudra while the left is holding a phurbu and the stem of a lotus flowering along her left arm, wearing sari, scarf draped around her shoulders, another one across her chest, bejewelled, her face displaying a ferocious expression, open mouth showing fangs and a double row of teeth, her hair combed in a chignon secured with an elaborate crown, double halo behind, the upper register with a Tara representation in each corner holding different attributes and the lower section with a pair of horse riders passing through a mountainous landscape with lake and river, in brocade mounting, framed and glazed.
