註：一九八〇年，經江蘇省美術館館長吳俊發牽線，莫一點與賴少其締交，當時，他偕母親造訪黃山，獲賴氏熱情款待，期間與畫家田原、師松齡、余所亞及吳俊發等人朝夕論藝，本幅即當時獲贈，畫家亦有山水寫贈莫母。

莫一點（b.1947），廣東新會人，香港畫家、美術評論家，丁衍庸高足。一九六四年拜入丁門，在老師的指導及薰陶下，繪事益進，並開啟對書畫收藏的興趣。莫氏閒暇喜壯遊，跋涉大江南北，在旅途中積累創作素材， 並遍訪畫壇名家，求教藝事及繪畫心得，與關良、程十髮、黎雄才、賴少其等人皆建立深厚私交，畫家們欣賞他的謙遜、敏求，引為後輩知己，不吝寫贈，故所積甚豐。
本輯作品，俱來源清晰，多直接得自畫家，關良兩幀早年寫生，乃家屬割愛相讓。丁公為其所作，向來備受稱道，不少屬命題訂製，題材特殊，筆精墨妙，不與俗同。尤可珍者，乃潘天壽為丁衍庸所寫〈蘭竹圖〉，丁公後轉讓予莫氏，足證師生情深義重，亦不乏獎掖、肯定之意。
