A near undetectable drill test at the bottom confirms that the sample extracted is of 17-19 karat. Two further three-spot surface XRF scans on the bottle and the stopper confirm the tested spots are all about 18 karat. The slightly rose tint of the bottle is due to the heavy presence of copper.
在壺底進行近鑽孔取樣測試，結果顯示所提取的樣本成色為17至19開。另對壺身及壺蓋分別進行三點表面X射線熒光光譜掃描（XRF），結果顯示所有測試點成色均約為18開。壺身略帶玫瑰色調，係由於含銅量較高所致。
