Each bowl painted in green enamels and iron-red within underglaze blue outlines with a central medallion on the interior depicting a pair of mandarin ducks in a lotus pond within a double circle, the exterior with further ducks alternating with lotus sprays above a spray of lotus leaves along the base. Marked with a Guangxu six-character mark in underglaze blue on the base.
