In the Bragge Album of hand-coloured water-colours of the William Bragge Collection, there is a drawing of an identical bottle to the current lot, which shows the original gilding of the outline of the bottle, some traces still seen in the current lot, access the image of the drawing here, #17.
William Bragge 舊藏《Bragge Album》手繪設色水彩圖冊中，繪有一件與本拍品相同的鼻煙壺，圖中可見壺身輪廓原有描金，本拍品上隱約可見。該圖可於此處（第17號）查閱。
