Jiaqing, dated by inscription to 1812 and of the period
The rectangular plaque finely rendered in famille rose enamels illustrating a garden gathering of a group of elegantly dressed ladies, two seated in a fenced garden with flourishing trees and pierced rocks, watching a pair of cranes in front with their young attendants nearby, and two seated in a pavilion beside a table with incense burner and a porcelain vase holding lotus, the room decorated with a calligraphic panel to the upper right corner, dating to the renshen year of the Jiaqing period, followed by two artists seals, wood frame and box.
45cm (17 3/4in) long x 31.5cm (12 3/8in) high. (3).

Famille-rose plaques from the Jiaqing period with inscriptions are rare. See a few examples applied with related painting techniques, including a famille-rose plaque decorated with a gathering scene of female musicians, Qianlong/Jiaqing, which was sold at Christie's South Kensington, 9 November 2016, lot 411; and a large famille-rose decorated 'figural' plaque, Jiaqing/Daoguang, which was sold at Bonhams Paris, 13 June 2023, lot 82.
嘉慶朝帶題識之粉彩瓷板極為罕見。其他技法類近之例，可參考一件乾隆/嘉慶朝粉彩仕女圖瓷板，售於南肯辛頓佳士得，2016年11月9日，拍品編號411；另見一件尺寸較大之嘉慶/道光朝粉彩郭子儀拜壽瓷板，售於巴黎邦瀚斯，2023年6月13日，拍品編號82。
