The rounded bowl and domed cover are painted in underglaze cobalt blue with radiating designs of stylised shou (壽) characters. The upper rim of the bowl is decorated with stylised bats and cloud motifs, while the area near the foot rim and the edge of the cover feature a continuous band of wave decoration. Both the bowl and cover are fitted with bronze mounts.
此蓋碗圓腹，配圓拱形蓋，通體以青花放射狀排列程式化「壽」字紋。碗口沿飾蝙蝠與流雲紋，近足處及蓋沿均環飾一周海水紋。碗身與器蓋均加裝銅質鑲件。
