Delicately potted with curved sides rising from a short foot to a gently everted rim, the exterior with a quartet of circular panels enclosing leafy stems sprouting peonies and ripe pomegranates and peaches, all against a ruby sgraffiato ground decorated with stylised lotus blossoms borne from scrolling vines, the interior with an eight-pronged spearhead motif centered with a foliate roundel and highlighted with gilt, the base with a six-character Daoguang seal mark in underglaze-blue
