Height without stopper: 2 1/4 in., 5.6 cm

slight variations in carving and form; generally good visual condition, flakes to tongue of snake on blue, rubbing to extremities; possible flake to red serpent tongue; red and green lacking spoons.

Of flattened circular form, the shoulders sloping to cylindrical necks, with wide mouths, flat lips and protruding oval footrims, the translucent bubble-suffused bodies carved in monochrome overlay of ruby-red, dark blue or green to depict on one main side a frog seated on a lotus plant, the reverse with a turtle and a snake, the tail of which forms the footrim.

These bottles may have originated as a set; their similarity to one another is remarkable.
