The compressed rounded body rising from a flat oval base to a cylindrical neck, finely incised in the round with lotus flowers within scrolling vines between upward leaf lappets above the base and pendant lappets around the shoulders, jadeite and coral stopper.
6.4cm (2 1/2in) high with stopper. (2).

The present bottle was thought to have been made in the Xifanzuo, the Tibetan Workshop in the Imperial compound. Such pieces were referred to by the Qianlong emperor as Hindustani jades, characterised by formalised floral designs inspired by Indian lotus scrolls and acanthus leaf designs. See H.Moss , , no.114.
