Yongzheng six-character mark and of the period
The interior roundel decorated in a vibrant underglaze blue with a stem bearing four flower heads coiled around a central flower with attendant flame-like flowers emerging along the stem, the exterior similarly decorated with a continuous floral frieze.

This dish uses the outlining technique of tie xian miao (铁线描 iron-wire line) drawn from traditional painting methods, and further elevated through its use on Yongzheng period Imperial porcelain. A smaller dish with similar decoration, Yongzheng, 15.2cm diam., was sold by Christie's New York, 23rd March 2012, lot 2050.
