奇峰。
鈐印：「高嵡之鈢」。
藏印：「陳符祥」。
註：本幅主幹茁壯蒼勁，欹斜而生，枝椏似捲曲舒展，褐色果實纍纍垂掛葉間，乍看頗似畫家慣寫之柿樹，惟葉面三裂，葉柄細長，果實自新梢的嫩枝朝上生長，實更符無花果之生長特徵。
以無花果入畫，鮮見於中國畫史，最著名者如北京故宮博物院藏之南宋李迪（傳）〈無花果圖〉，亦僅繪折枝。攷高氏傳世作品，以此為題者似僅得本幅，可一窺其取材廣博，而精準掌握物象、物態之特徵，亟現觀察自然與狀物寫生之深厚功力。
畫中樹葉碩大如掌，自翠綠漸轉褐黃，寓萬物在四季更迭中的生命歷程。樹上積雪未消，寒禽靜立，意境清寂，亦流露日本畫風影響之痕跡。
