款識：
右〈宰封牛骨刻辭〉，殷墟出土，曾見之於尊古齋，偶臨以奉雪侯十一表兄方家雅正。甲午秋日。達生孔德成。
鈐印：「德成」、「達生」。
來源：袁世凱十一子袁克安（1906-1967）舊藏。袁氏，字雪侯，赴美留學，返國後任職開灤礦務局。四九年赴港，轉投陳納德成立之美國民航空運公司，後隨司遷臺並任高職，晚歲居香港。

註：孔德成早年到北平遊學，常逛琉璃廠，欣賞古物，尤好訪「尊古齋」，以其主人黃百川諳金石碑版文物。本幅所書殷墟卜辭，謂「見之於尊古齋」，即記當年目遇者，並書贈表兄袁克安，小而雅緻，恰供書房雅玩。時於一九五四年秋，孔氏任國民大會代表，並執教臺灣省立農學院中文系。
