The caparisoned elephant neatly decorated in white-ground cloisonné, its head sharply turned to one side wearing beaded and jeweled fittings, the saddle-cloth enameled with lotus scroll and draped with a tasseled pink-ground undercloth, surmounted by a globular zun-shaped vase enameled with lotus blooms flanked by a pair of masked handles.
