Edo-Meiji period, 18th-19th century
Comprising: A pair of ingot shaped dishes decorated in underglaze blue, red and green enamels and gilt with a ho-o within a border of scrolling foliage and geometric pattern panels, 奇玉宝鼎之珍 Kigyoku Hotei no Chin (rare precious treasure) marks; a faceted dish decorated in underglaze blue, iron red and gilt with flowering peonies within a border of floral and geometric pattern medallions, repeated on the exterior, four-character mark 富貴長春 Fuki choshun (prosperity and youth); and a deep bowl with everted rim, decorated to the interior with a dragon medallion within six alternating dragon and cloud roundels, the exterior with alternating floral and ho-o panels, all on geometric and foliate grounds, six-character mark 奇玉宝鼎之珍 Kigyoku Hotei no Chin.
