Yongzheng seal mark and of the period
The interior well moulded and carved in low relief to the centre with a three-clawed chilong leaping amidst ruyi cloud-scrolls within a raised roundel, the exterior carved with a band of overlapping petals below the everted rim, covered overall with an even bluish-green glaze thinning on the raised decoration to highlight the carving, the foot rim with a dark brown slip.

T.Y. Chao (1912-1999) was a renowned shipping tycoon in Hong Kong and a world-famous collector of Chinese antiquities. He was born in a well-off family in Shanghai and practiced as a lawyer there between 1934 and 1941, but later became involved in import/export and shipping business. In 1948, he entered the shipping business in Hong Kong, becoming one of the three founders of Hong Kong's shipping industry. Over several decades, he assembled a legendary collection of Chinese classical paintings and calligraphy, Imperial ceramics, and jades, culminating in the historic sales of his collection in 1986 and 1987.
William Soeryadjaya (1922–2010), fondly known as "Om William," was one of Indonesia's most visionary industrial leaders and the founder of Astra International. Over four decades, he built Astra into a premier multi-industry conglomerate spanning automotive, agriculture, financial services, and heavy equipment, driving Indonesia's post-war industrialisation. Beyond his commercial acumen, he was celebrated for his deep personal integrity, philanthropy, and steadfast commitment to social causes and education.
The present charger belongs to a select group of celadon-glazed porcelain specially commissioned by the Qing Court to cater to the Yongzheng emperor's taste for archaistic monochrome wares. The design of the dragon in relief with a band of overlapping petals and the smooth blue-green glaze resembles the pale celadon-glazed Longquan wares of similar designs made in the 12th and 13th centuries; see a detailed discussion by J.Ayers in , Geneva, 1972, no.A360.

盤敞口，折沿，弧壁，圈足。盤心淺浮雕雲龍紋，外壁印蓮瓣紋一周。器形周正，紋飾雅緻，釉色均勻，雍容大氣。大盤屬於極為珍罕之青釉御瓷系列，乃清宮特為順應雍正皇帝慕古尚雅之高致品味而特別訂製。其浮雕龍紋配合仰蓮紋之設計，加之瑩潤柔和之青翠釉色，極具十二至十三世紀龍泉窯淡青釉器物之遺風；詳細參見約翰·艾爾斯（J.Ayers）著，《鮑爾藏中國陶瓷》，卷3，日內瓦，1972年，圖版 A360。
