Edo period, 17th century
The Arita vessel with an upright curved handle and short spout, flat to the upper edge, decorated overall in iron red and gilt highlights with scrolling, leafy chrysanthemum sprays on a washed green enamelled ground; the Imari teapot decorated in underglaze blue, coloured enamels and gilt with peonies and wild pinks.
The tallest 16.5cm (6 1/2in) high. (4).
