Of flattened ovoid form, the shoulders sloping to a cylindrical neck, the lip flat, the base surrounded by a neatly carved oval protruding footrim, the narrow sides with mock mask and ring handles, the well hollowed icy yellow-tinged celadon stone with a russet skin to one main side, well carved to depict an official reaching to replace his hat with one of higher office presented to him by an attendant, while another attendant holds a bird, the reverse carved with a pavilion borne on clouds rising from the sea, as a crane with a tally in its beak flies by.
