Both with older canvas linings, frames possibly associated, surfaced soiled, yellowed, and darkened, a few scattered small surface flaws; craquelure throughout (the first with extensive paint alligatoring/separation); the second with rippling along edges; wear, chipping, inpainting, and soiling to frames. Under UV light, masking varnish, first with inpainted areas to the skies and edges, some inpainting along alligatored paint separation; the second with scattered smaller areas of inpainting, and some strengthening of edges and some inpainting to alligatoring.
