Supported on a short, straight foot, the compressed globular body rising to a waisted neck terminating at a cup-shaped rim, covered overall with a mottled green, straw and amber glaze falling irregularly at the middle of the body. 6.8cm (2 5/8in) high.

Jeremy Mason is a noted bibliophile and a retired dealer in Chinese and Japanese art who started his career at Christie's in the late 1960s, particularly known for his collection of Oscar Wilde books and ephemera, sold at Bonhams London in February 2026.
