來源: Collection of Count Damien de Martel (1878–1940), who was in Beijing between 1913–1918 and again between 1925–1929, and who later built his villa in Cap d’Antibes, France, to house the present sculpture.
Then by succession of ownership at the same villa in Cap d’Antibes to Charles Ferdinand Joseph Marie Gordinne.
Acquired together with the villa by Nancy Phyllis Louise Astor (1909–1975) in 1962, Cap d’Antibes, France.
Private Collection, Cap d’Antibes, acquired directly from the above in 1968, the sculpture remaining in the villa.
Acquired directly from the above by the present owner in 1984.
