品相
Overall in very good condition. The leather seat appears to have been sensitively replaced at some point in the piece’s history and presents with minimal age- and use-related wear, including a few minor scuffs, fine surface scratches, a few faint discolorations and a few minor areas of wrinkling, none of which is visually distracting. The maple legs present with scattered minor scuffs, fine surface scratches and a few minor abrasions, all commensurate with age and use and none of which is visually distracting. The brass is in overall very good condition and presents with a few minor scuffs and fine surface scratches, commensurate with age and use, along with minor areas of oxidation, inherent to the material’s aging process and only visible upon close inspection.

If a condition report is provided to assist you with assessing the condition of the lot, it is for guidance purposes only. Such condition report may not refer to all faults, restoration, alterations, or adaptations because Sotheby's is not a professional conservator or restorer but rather a condition report is a statement of subjective, qualified opinion genuinely held by Sotheby's. For these reasons, any such condition report is not an alternative to taking your own professional advice regarding the condition of the lot. Prospective buyers should also refer to the Guide for Buyers at Auction which includes important notices concerning the type of property in this sale.
