The square rectangular body with a <i>roiro </i>ground lacquered in gold and slight-coloured<i> takamaki-e </i>with a tethered, caparisoned horse in a stable beneath a brocade curtain on one side and a falcon standing on an elaborate tasselled perch on the other, the interior risers of <i>nashiji</i>, signed in gold <i>hiramaki-e</i> on the base with seal characters <i>Joka</i>, with an amber <i>ojime</i>.
