说明：Buddhist bronzes from the small but powerful Wuyue kingdom in present day Zhejiang province are characterised by complex, multifaceted lotus pedestals. They were cast in the lost wax process in a high-leaded bronze alloy, with numerous pieces. Another rare bronze figure, depicting an unidentifiable seated bodhisattva, is preserved in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, accession no. 25.217.3, illustrated in Denise Patry Leidy and Donna Strahan, Wisdom Embodied: Chinese Buddhist and Daoist Sculpture in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New Haven, 2010, cat. no. 22.
