A finely potted Kraak plate with the characteristic panelled decoration, painted in soft and deep tones of underglaze cobalt blue. The central decoration depicts a bird resting on a stretch of land beside bamboo. To the left are rocks with a bird in flight above, beneath a sun surrounded by ruyi-shaped curling clouds. The rim is divided into eight large panels decorated with flowers, an egret, and insects, interrupted by smaller panels filled with diamond and dot motifs. The reverse is similarly divided, with cartouches decorated with lingzhi and insects, separated by stylised cloud motifs. The centre bears a finely executed egret mark. This example is illustrated and discussed in Maura Rinaldi’s book 'Kraak Porcelain: A Moment in the History of Trade".
本盤曾收錄並論述於 Maura Rinaldi 所著《Kraak Porcelain: A Moment in the History of Trade》一書。
