Compare a closely related dish attributed to the Ding kilns of Hebei in Bright as Silver White as Snow. Chinese White Ceramics from Late Tang to Yuan Dynasty, Hong Kong, 1998, pl. 4; another Ding example inscribed Xin Guan ('new official') uncovered from the tomb of Shui Qiu (dated 901 CE) in Selection of Ding Ware.
