说明：本捧盒體量恢宏，氣勢雄健，構思新穎，充分展現清初工藝的鮮明特色。盒面以紅色五爪正龍為主紋，其設計承襲明末龍紋樣式，亦與同時期織物紋飾相互呼應。全器製作精湛，極可能為宮廷御用之器。
本盒尤為難得之處，在於集中展現宮廷琺瑯作多種精湛技法：中央龍紋色彩濃麗，周圍開光內的花卉則以柔和細膩、近似繪畫的琺瑯技法表現；雷紋邊飾古樸穩健，盒沿更鑄飾八條高浮雕雲龍，厚重而富有立體感。
花卉紋飾的細膩處理，可比較一件抱月瓶，載於A & J Speelman，《Chinese Works of Art》，倫敦，2006年，頁20；另見Helmut Brinker及Albert Lutz，《Chinesisches Cloisonne: Die Sammlung Pierre Uldry》，蘇黎世，1985年，圖版234。正面龍紋可比較舊金山亞洲藝術博物館艾弗里・布倫戴奇收藏一件盤，其上飾相近的黃色正龍（編號B61M5+），載於《Cloisonné: Chinese Enamels from the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties》，紐黑文，2011年，編號63。另可比較布魯克林博物館藏一件三足爐，其器身同樣以鑄造高浮雕技法表現蝙蝠及流雲，見同書，圖6.32。
