Each of square section with canted corners, rising from a spreading foot with champlevé enamel floral scrolls to jade-inset band carved in low relief with lotus scrolls, surmounted by a large tapering section inset with further jade plaques similarly carved with lotus, the trumpet neck inset with jade bats and enamel lotus and foliate lappets, key-fret borders on the mouth and foot.
Each 29.5cm (11 5/8in) high. (2).

These gilt‑bronze fanggu vases, inset with jade and decorated with champlevé enamel, reflect the Qianlong Court's sustained engagement with antiquity. The fanggu form is derived from ritual bronzes of the Shang and Zhou dynasties, yet here it is reinterpreted through the aesthetic and technical sensibilities of the mid‑Qing period.
vessels of this type are commonly found in the set of five-piece altar garniture () in the Qing Court Collection; compare a pair of closely related examples (each 28.5cm high) in the Palace Museum, Taipei (acc.no.中銅002310N000000000, 中銅002311N000000000). Another pair with flanges was included in , Palace Museum, Taipei, and illustrated in the exhibition catalogue, Taipei, 1995, pp.102-103, no.18.
本拍品仿商周銅觚，反映乾隆朝慕古風之盛行；再結合當朝審美與工藝技術，賦予古器新意。
此類觚器常見於清宮舊藏之五供器。比較台北故宮博物院藏一對形制極為相近之例（各高28.5厘米，館藏編號：中銅002310N000000000、中銅002311N000000000）。另一對帶扉棱之例，曾展於台北故宮博物院《金銅佛教供具特展》，台北，1995年，頁102至103，編號18。
