The deep rounded sides rising from a tapered foot to a slightly everted rim, finely painted to the exterior with eight five-clawed dragons pursuing flaming pearls amidst scrolling clouds, all above a band of cresting waves and stylised ruyi-heads, the interior centred with a further iron-red dragon medallion enclosed within double-line borders and above a band of breaking waves, the base with a six-character Jiajing mark in underglaze cobalt blue within a double circle.
此碗深弧腹，下承漸收圈足，口沿微撇。外壁精繪八條五爪龍穿行於流雲之間，競逐火珠，下承翻湧海水及如意雲紋。碗心雙圈內另繪一條礬紅五爪龍，下方環飾海水紋。底部青花雙圈內書「大明嘉靖年製」六字款。
