The centre of the painting is occupied by a red tantric deity, perhaps Ekajati, seated with legs crossed on a lotus base, her four arms radiating around her body, the hands holding vajra, sword, pasha and showing the tarjanimudra, wearing sari, scarf, bejewelled, her face displaying a severe expression, her hair combed in a chignon secured with a tiara set with skulls, body and head aureoles behind, the upper register with the five tathagata’s and the lower section with two female divinities holding various attributes, framed.
From an old German private collection belonging to a collector of Tibetan art, acquired before 2000 - Wear, minor damages due to age
