说明：Yang Ming was a late Ming lacquer craftsman from the Xitang area. Today known primarily for his scholarshap, Yang is credited with annotation and editing of Huang Cheng's Xiushilu (Record of Lacquer Decoration) in 1625, the only surviving contemporary record of early lacquer production.
No other carved lacquer pieces featuring the present signature appear to have been published, although an oval lacquer dish signed Yang Ming zuo (Made by Yang Ming) from the Krolik and Plesch Collections was sold in Christie’s London, 3 November 2009, lot 178, and again at Christie's Hong Kong, 28th May 2014, lot 3006.
