友如作畫須求澹，山似論文不喜平。
庚申春正月，八十二叟爰。
鈐印：「張爰之印」、「大千居士」、「遊藝中原」。
藏印：「宗傑鑑賞」、「霍氏保藏歷代文物印」、「世代長留」、「霍宗傑藏」、「霍氏宗傑鑒賞」。

註：霍宗傑（1929-2023），廣東新會人，於香港經營藥材業，嗜書畫，上世紀七十年代，拜會大千先生於臺灣，自言「蒙熱情款接，出示所繪人物、山水、花鳥等精作，為之神往。奇緣難得，除乞請見讓若干外，隨即遍託好友廣為覓購，先後購得五十餘品。」涵蓋不同年代、題材，部份具其上款。藏聯亦夥，多書於「摩耶精舍製」箋，本聯即一例，上所鈐「遊藝中原」印乃霍宗傑倩香港篆刻名家唐積聖治，具邊款「大千友長永用，弟霍宗傑謹呈，唐積聖刻」，此印頗多見於霍氏藏張大千作品。翌年秋，大千書另聯，與本幅同文，亦為霍氏藏。
