Modelled after the archaic jade cong, this half-vase form with a celadon glaze suffused with dark craquelures. Its rectangular body joins a rounded rim and foot, the surface is decorated with grooved bands; the reverse side features piercing holes and a slotted channel for secure suspension; the underside bears a cobalt blue six-character Qianlong seal mark.
